Lines
Ongoing
JGN Family & Friends group meets the first Tuesday of
every month at the West Bloomfield Jewish Community Center Library
(6600 West Maple Road, West Bloomfield) from 7-9pm. Topics vary
from month to month. This is a gathering of people who have family
or friends who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender,
or who are questioning their sexual orientation or gender identity.
Join us as we offer support, share our experiences, and learn about
the issues impacting the LGBTQ and allied community.

- The Jewish Gay Network (JGN) Family and Friends will hold its next meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, in the library at the Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Detroit, 6600 W. Maple Road in West Bloomfield . The program will include a viewing of
"Ask Not" and a discussion following.

Carol Leifer: "Meet and Greet"

When You
Lie About Your Age, The Terrorists Win will be our guest at
the JGN "Meet and Greet" before her program for the 58th Annual
Jewish Book Fair. Tickets are $18 per person, and refreshments
will be served.
- Carol's career as a stand-up comedian
started in the 1970s, in college. In the 1980s she was discovered
by David Letterman and has performed many times on the Late
Night With David Letterman show, as well as other shows and
venues. She has also written many TV scripts, including The
Larry Sanders Show, Saturday Night Live and Seinfeld.
